Traces of Intuition

The solo exhibition “Traces of Intuition” by Pula-born artist Demi Lisjak opens at Gallery Stari Grad in Pula on 8 June 2026. The exhibition presents Lisjak’s recent painting works, shaped through abstract minimalism and expressionism, and invites visitors to explore the space between inner dialogue, intuition and the visible layers of reality.

Pula-born artist Demi Lisjak presents her solo exhibition “Traces of Intuition” at Gallery Stari Grad, located at Kandlerova 14 in Pula.

The exhibition opens on 8 June 2026 at 8:30 PM and remains open until 16 June 2026.

Demi Lisjak was born in Pula in 1999 and has been actively involved in painting since 2017, when she completed an introductory painting course at ULIKS under the guidance of art educator Milanka Korovljev. “Traces of Intuition” is her second solo exhibition of paintings.

In her work, Lisjak combines traditional and contemporary media, using techniques such as oil, acrylic and watercolour. Her artistic expression develops through abstract minimalism and expressionism, inviting the viewer to introspection, personal interpretation and a look beneath the visible surface of reality.

Through her artistic practice, Demi creates a space between inner dialogue and cognitive freedom. Alongside her painting, she also works professionally in digital design and visual communication.

Lisjak has participated in group exhibitions organised within HDLU, as well as international exhibitions where she has received recognition. She also takes part in online competitions dedicated to abstract art. Her first solo exhibition was held in 2025 in Pomer, at the Rotonda association, where she exhibited together with Karmen Štifanić under the title “Chromatic Pulse”.

The exhibition “Traces of Intuition” is open from 8 to 16 June 2026.
