The 73rd Pula Film Festival takes place from July 9 to 16, 2026, bringing one of Croatia’s most important cultural events back to the spectacular setting of Pula Arena.
As the oldest Croatian film festival and one of the longest-running film festivals in Europe, Pula Film Festival combines open-air cinema, national premieres, international films, industry events, concerts, exhibitions and special programmes across the city.
The highlight of the festival is the evening film programme in the Roman amphitheatre, where audiences can watch selected films under the stars in one of the most atmospheric cinema venues in the world. Screenings and side programmes also take place at locations such as Valli Cinema, INK, Ambrela and Brijuni.
The 2026 programme includes Croatian films, minority co-productions, regional and international selections, student films, children’s screenings, professional industry events and accompanying cultural programmes.
For visitors, Pula Film Festival is more than a film event. It is a unique summer experience that combines cinema, heritage, the old town atmosphere and warm July evenings in Pula.

Tickets are available online via the official Pula Film Festival website, at the Giardini Info Point, and at the ticket sales point in front of Pula Arena during the festival.
Discounts for students and pensioners are available only at the Giardini Info Point with valid proof of status.
