Metropolitan Opera Live
When: October 3, 2026 – May 8, 2027
Where: Kino Valli, Pula, Croatia
The Metropolitan Opera returns to Kino Valli for the 2026/2027 season, bringing world-class opera from New York to the big screen in Pula.
As part of The Met: Live in HD, audiences can experience selected productions from the Metropolitan Opera with high-quality live broadcasts, behind-the-scenes access and performances by some of today’s leading opera singers. Kino Valli is the only cinema in Croatia participating in the programme this season.
The 2026/2027 programme features works by Mozart, Verdi, Bizet, Puccini, Saint-Saëns and Massenet. The cultural programme also includes two ballet productions from the Paris Opera Ballet: Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake.
The season opens on October 3 with Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Dražen Siriščević, a well-known Croatian opera expert and longtime promoter of opera, will be the special guest for the opening evening.
Kino Valli will complement the screenings with a special atmosphere inspired by an evening at the opera, including a red carpet, music, wine, refreshments and guest conversations on selected dates.
